Mutula Kilonzo, who passed away on Saturday, 27th April, 2013, at his rural home in Maanzoni, Machakos County. Sen. Kilonzo was born on 22nd July, 1948 in Woyani Village in Mbooni, Makueni County. The late Senator was educated at Mbooni DEB Intermediate School and Machakos High School before joining the University of Dar-es-Salaam in 1969 where he graduated with a first class honors degree in Law in 1974.
