Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have lot of respect for my good friend, hon. Minister. However, is he in order to mislead the House that he can create a policy for every instance? Indeed, he did say that there is no policy and that these appointments are done at the behest of the appointing authority. The hon. Imanyara said in the absence of clear policy, it is subject to abuse by the appointing authority. Could he confirm that this can be open to abuse? Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want the Minister to confirm to the youth of this Republic that the reason he extended the mandatory retirement age from 55 to 60 was to accommodate these old men. As if that is not enough, he has now allowed them to exceed even the age of 60.
