It is also aware that the Minister was to be away yesterday and not today. So, there is really no excuse why the Minister is not available. However, given the prevailing circumstances, I will take what the Minister has committed himself to. I would have deferred it until tomorrow, but it being a public holiday, let us give the Government up to Tuesday. view

But the noble objective of that programme is being frustrated by this particular Ministry in terms of failure to recruit more nurses and take them to medical training centres so that they can fill the serious shortfall of nurses in all the district health facilities. What is the Assistant Minister going to specifically do to ensure that areas like Bura and Lodwar, where there are 39 health facilities without nurses--- The local medical training centres should be recruiting local personnel as a priority.
