This House has spoken that our priority number one is free primary education. This country spoke as early as September 2000 when we signed the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). All of us assembled here could not be here to speak eloquently the way we do, if we did not have teachers. What are we doing to the future generation? When they are on formal permanent and pensionable schemes, you pay them Kshs40,000.
