• 6 Oct 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to register my gratitude to the Committee and the House. We have worked well. In fact, yesterday we had a meeting in which we approved this Motion. We have had 103 meetings. That is how seriously we took our assignments in the Committee, contrary to the perception out there that hon. Members only work for three days. How could we be working for three days and still be able to hold over 100 meetings just within two and a half years. view

Among these, there are only three that I just want to highlight which demonstrate why we are here. Function No.3 says:- “To consider and recommend to Parliament any matter requiring action by the National Assembly pursuant to the provisions of this Act.” view
