The law is very clear that until you get a written letter from the President, nothing else will excuse any person especially in Government from appearing before the House or responding to issues sought by the House. That is the law. So, I think the outrage by Members is that you should not have accepted that in the first instance because it is nothing. Secondly, we are talking about a stated Government policy.
