Since we are getting concerned as a House that there are too many petitions, we would also like to appreciate that the citizens are looking up to the House to solve some of these issues. Standing Order No.224 says: “The total time on the Order on “Petitions” shall not exceed 30 minutes.” Now, Standing Order No.226 says: “The Speaker may allow comments, observations or clarifications in relation to a petition presented or reported and such total time shall not exceed 30 minutes.” view
