  • 13 Oct 2015 in Senate: What is it, Sen. Orengo? view
  • 13 Oct 2015 in Senate: I do not understand why you appear agitated for a simple request and particularly when you are not listening. These Statements are prepared way in advance. In appreciating the issues we have raised, I actually clarified my own Statement as I was reading it; 10 minutes to the Leaders and 5 minutes to any other Senator but the presiding officer may vary that time according to the mood of the House. Those are my words and they are on HANSARD. So, what you are raising will be taken into account. view
  • 13 Oct 2015 in Senate: Order, Senator! I think there was a context in which that word was being used but you want to take it in another dimension. Do not put words into Sen. Orengo’s mouth, he is a wordsmith. Since he did not proceed along those lines, let us appreciate the context in which he meant that. It was to get more time and that has been granted. Proceed, the Senate Majority Leader. view
  • 13 Oct 2015 in Senate: Order, Members. The Leaders will have 20 minutes each so that the Majority Leader could proceed along those lines. Every other Senator speaking will have ten minutes each. view
  • 8 Oct 2015 in Senate: Order, Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale. The practice of this House is to discourage ambushes. This may be a very sad ambush. I can only act when I have verified the veracity of your assertions. view
  • 8 Oct 2015 in Senate: You also know that newspapers are not reliable sources of information. view
  • 8 Oct 2015 in Senate: You are so guided. Proceed on with the matter before us. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate. view
  • 8 Oct 2015 in Senate: Is Sen. Nabwala here? Chairperson of the Committee on Delegated Legislation? Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale, which Papers did you lay on the Table? view
