That demonstrates the popularity and gravity of this particular issue. I want to thank Sen. Haji and Sen. Khaniri because when they brought these similar Motions in the first year, my office was able to persuade them to put them in abeyance because we felt that we may not look at the matter with sobriety. (Prof.) Lonyangapuo rose pursuant to Standing Order No.46 of the Senate Standing Orders, seeking the indulgence of the Senate to make a Personal Statement.
