Standing Order No.74(5) says; “When called out, each Senator shall, thereupon rise, in his or her place and declare assent or dissent to the question on the following manner – I vote “yes”, I vote “no” or “I abstain” or use appropriate Kenyan sign language.” This is, of course, not applicable to you. So, you only have three options; that you either vote “yes”, “no”, or “abstain.” So, withdraw and apologise. view
