• 31 Jul 2013 in Senate: The Ministry of Devolution and Planning has organised for a special meeting with the Senators to discuss the Second Medium Term Plan (MTP), 2013-2017. The Second Medium Term Plan, 2013-2017 has been prepared in an inclusive and participatory stakeholder consultative process with a view to help transform Kenya into a newly industrializing middle-income country providing high quality life to all its citizens in line with Vision 2030. view

Senators, I am informed that the county consultations fora were undertaken in all the 47 counties between 3rd to 10th December, 2012 and as a result of the fora, priority sectors were identified in each county.
