  • 17 Jun 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity. Allow me to thank Hon. Injendi, my neighbour, for coming up with this noble Motion. To avoid the “come-we-stay” kind of marriages, it is better if those offices are de- centralised to the sub-county level, so that couples who want to marry can reach the registrars’ offices easily.   • 17 Jun 2015 in National Assembly: Most couples today are in un-registered marriages. I am sure that most of them will legalise their unions, and the Government will raise quite some revenue. This will also create employment by opening offices in a number of sub-counties. view
