• 5 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: If the Motion is passed by not less than 75 per cent, then the deputy speaker should write to the Senate and the Senate should immediately convene a special committee comprising of 11 Members to investigate the matter. If the special committee of the Senate finds out that whatever was written by the deputy speaker is not substantiated, further proceedings shall not be taken under this section in respect of that allegation. And if the report is substantiated, then the speaker ceases to be in office. view

Mohamed Ali, kwa kuileta Hoja hii ya kufutilia mbali ada za matatibu katika hospitali za umma na za rufaa pindi mtu anapofariki. Kama Jimbo la Nyandarua, tuko na hii shida kila wakati. Watu wanakufa katika hospitali ya KNH na watu wao hawawezi kulipa ada ya hospitali. Juzi kulikuwa na mama mmoja ambaye ada yake ilikuwa Kshs5 milioni. • 22 Aug 2018 in National Assembly: Vesico-vaginal Fistula causes urine and stool to mix. It causes infections, pain and bad smell. It often triggers stigma and break down of families because of the smell that the patient produces. Some families do not work anymore. Their community life is interrupted. As the Mover has put it, more than 2 million women and girls live with obstetric fistula, most of which occur as a result of complicated deliveries. Women with obstructed labour, which can lead to fistula, need emergency obstetric care such as caesarean sections.
