  • 2 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, we are looking at major functions and education is the core function that we have. I strongly support that Cabinet Secretary in charge of education should appoint somebody to that position. However, I will only support if the appointment will show the face of Kenya. As it is now only royal communities are appointed to this Government. I support. view
  • 2 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I support all the three amendments. This is at the national level and not constituency level. For that, I do not see any problem in Members supporting this amendment. Honestly, if you really want to go and manage CDF Fund, be a Member of Parliament and do it and not from the back door. If you are engaging in active politics and you are not an elected Member of Parliament, I do not think you have any business with it. view

  • 19 Nov 2015 in National Assembly: Is Hon. Baiya in order to discourage a Member who has worked so hard and managed to come up with a Private Member’s Bill to enable us achieve a major gain in our Constitution in favour of a Government Bill which is yet to see the light of the day? We have constitutional deadlines and the Government has not done what it is supposed to do. Why does the Member not see the need to enrich or change it so that we have a law in this country? Is he in order to discourage her? He is discouraging the Member ... view
