• 19 Nov 2013 in National Assembly: It involved a matatu and a train at Mutindwa area, Nairobi. Twelve innocent Kenyans lost their lives in this accident, which was caused by, among other things, professional negligence and human error, considering the design of the road. Following the accident, the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Transport and Infrastructure revoked the Transport Licensing Board, (TLB) and licence for the Umoinner SACCO vehicles.
