The PPPs will construct roads and collect money using tolls rather than us borrowing money which probably ends up doing other projects or corruption coming in.   • 23 Jun 2020 in National Assembly: The amendment seeks to ensure that the proposed protection of tax revenue held on behalf of KRA by commercial banks and financial institutions during insolvency is effective by aligning the amendment to the language which is used in the Banking Act. The Committee noted that Section 4 of the Banking Act provides for licensing of persons, but not registration as used in the proposed amendment. The Committee views this minor amendment as necessary in order to give effect to the purpose of the amendment of the Insolvency Act as stated in the memorandum of objects and reasons for the Bill. view
