Kenya Gazette. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am also in the process of adding the initials “MBT” to my names. Thereafter my names shall read: Mbuvi Gedion Kioko Kivangulia Kivatu Nangelesi (MBT) meaning “Mkamba Born Town”

Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is a very sad case involving my name sake, a Mr. Mbuvi, who was a watchman at Katoloni Primary School. Can the Assistant Minister explain why the police have been reluctant all this time in apprehending the murderers? Why have they not responded as they normally do when they apprehend dangerous suspects? When police officers are sent to arrest Members of Parliament, they come in full force, with teargas canisters, AK47 rifles and even with pliers to pinch our private parts with. This used to happen to some hon. Members of this House at Nyayo House ...
