Nairobi has begun and is scheduled for completion and commissioning in 2017. For this, I have allocated Kshs.22.9 billion to be raised through the Railway Development Levy (RDL), in 2014/2015 Budget. Fourth, we shall shortly commission terminal 4 and commence work on the Greenfield project for the completion by 2017 so as to position Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as a regional aviation hub. In addition, we are also expanding other airports in the country. In this connection, I have allocated Kshs.1.65 billon for on-going upgrading of Kisumu and Isiolo Airports and construction of three new airports in Mandera, Malindi and Suneka.
