  • 10 Oct 2017 in National Assembly: That is my view, and you can have yours. That is what democracy is all about. I have a few problems with the provisions in the amendments, but the biggest reason I think it is not the right thing to do, is the spirit of those proposed amendments. I believe they are being brought forward specifically for the re-election and they are being deliberated upon by one party. Democracy is good because it is rule by the majority. However, the majority must take cognizance of the views of the minority. view
