I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 2 of the Bill be amended by— (a) inserting the following new definition in its proper alphabetical sequence — “State” has the meaning assigned to it under Article 260 of the Constitution”. (b) by inserting the word “entity” immediately before the word “business” in the definition of the term “public record”. This amendment seeks to include the definition of “State” as used in Article 260 of the Constitution. The other part of the amendment seeks to realign the definition of the term “public record”. view
