  • 11 May 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, during the construction of the airstrip it went beyond what was the public reservation. It went into land belonging to private owners. Therefore, Mr. Odhiambo is quite right that in such cases, there should be compensation. At the time this was happening, there were no construction; actually the airstrip is the runway itself.
