• 12 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Yes, because it is the more I say the truth. I know. The purpose of this wall or fence is to have coordinated, controlled and documented access points. You cannot leave 700 kilometres open that anyone who wants to come to Kenya can come through. We want to have coordinated, controlled access points where you will have documentation of registered persons as they enter Kenya. That is the bone of contention. It is not to stop wars. view

However, you can remember that the Chair of the outgoing commission comes from that perceived region. He has served as an intelligence officer and rose through the ranks up to the level of Chief Intelligent Officer. I have no doubt whatsoever on his capacity and ability to serve in this commission. • 6 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: When the Chairman of the Committee was moving the Report, he said there was no single memorandum against any nominee written by the public. Therefore, having been subjected to public participation and the public has approved all of them, and that is why they have not indicated any issue against any nominee, as a House, I request that we agree with the public and approve all the President’s nominees and we have the jobs start immediately. • 26 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: slots per sub-county was not provided and the recruitment was not over. As correctly put by the Member, the Ministry was of the view that since the recruitment was ongoing, this would have compromised the whole exercise. However, now that it is over, I think it is quite in order to ask the Ministry to table the list of how many recruits were recruited per sub-county because this was not done at that time.
