• 11 Feb 2025 in National Assembly: The ruling of the High Court has been overtaken by events because it took almost three years. The case was filed under a certificate of urgency. The three-judge bench should have acted very quickly and given their ruling immediately. It is not stated anywhere that the Speaker cannot hold a political office. Hon. Speaker, make a ruling on the Majority and Minority parties. There is very little difference in terms of work and salaries. People are aligning themselves politically for the next general elections.
