I gave them the following considerations: Number one, I told them that the basis for considering these options must be the political and economic stability of Nairobi City County and must be in the best interest of the people first, and for them being able to receive services. So, we also need to have devolution like the people in Kathwana in Tharaka-Nithi County or those in Sega in Siaya County. We also deserve devolution in Nairobi City County. As we consider this move - a move of last resort to say the least - the situation is dire than you will imagine. I urge that as we consider the details of the agreement of transfer, which seems to be the one option that serves the best interests of Nairobi City County, let us consider the people and be guided by the considerations I have given. view
