We cannot say that we have tough times yet the national Budget is going up by 14 per cent and we only want an additional of 4 per cent based on core inflation. It would set a bad precedent. We told them that none of us can come back to the Senate and say to Members that we have brought an extra Kshs2 billion which is less than 2 per cent from the last provision yet we know counties are ... view
  • 8 Aug 2019 in Senate: Television weep when asked about their absentee fathers. So, some have not physically abandoned their children but they are absent in terms of the time they spend with them. • 7 Aug 2019 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, first of all, I join you in welcoming the students from Uasin Gishu County as well as those who are here on the internship programme from Starehe Boys Centre.
