The question was whether the CS is aware that there is discrimination in the on-going KDF recruitment. The KDF recruitment is open to all eligible candidates interested in joining. The policy on recruitment indicating the number of recruits targeted per ward is not conducted at the ward level. The requirement under the KDF Act is for the Defence Council to advertise the designated recruitment centres for all counties, at least 30 days before recruitment which was complied with.
