  • 11 May 2022 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, we have two amendments here in Clause 19. The other one is a New Clause. I beg to move: THAT, Clause 19 of the Bill be amended in sub clause (1) by deleting the words “or at a reduced cost” The Committee felt that medical treatment, special care and training for children with disabilities should be free just like basic education. view

  • 11 May 2022 in National Assembly: On the first one, we proposed to delete the words “at reduced cost” which I thought the Committee’s version is more improved than hers because we want medical facilities and the care of children with disabilities to be free just like basic education and not at a reduced cost. So, I would prevail on my colleague to take this version that we have and drop her version on that particular sub-clause. view
