  • 2 May 2012 in National Assembly: (c) According to the Mining Act, Cap. 306 of the Laws of Kenya, all minerals are vested in the State which holds them on behalf of the citizens. However, the Mining Act requires that consent be sought from the land owner before prospecting and mining activities may be sanctioned.
