Standing Order No.2(c) which is on page 6 states: “reference to the Speaker includes the Deputy Speaker or any other Member when presiding over the Assembly pursuant to Article 107 of the Constitution.” So, hon. Member, when you see the Speaker on session, treat the Speaker as the Speaker of the National Assembly.
