I think it is dishonest on the part of some of us to point out a particular office holder and say that he or she should not have a salary, when the public says that we are overpaid! That is on the basis of the work that we do. I, as an hon. Member of Parliament, cannot justify the salary that I earn, and then say that the President of this country should earn a quarter of that.
