Hon. Speaker, the decision that was made by the Chief Justice of this country and the Supreme Court to nullify the Presidential election gratified and disappointed many. We, the Jubilee Party and its affiliates, were greatly disappointed by the decision but our President accepted it. That is what really moved me. He used his discernment and wise judgment to accept the decision. He said that in as much as he differed with the Judiciary, he would accept the decision and accept the ruling of the Supreme Court.

No other President in Africa has ever accepted such kind of ruling. It is only few in the rest of the world. This is unparalleled in the annals of history. It is because of this that I was very touched by our President as a man who has the tenacity and courage to lead this nation to prosperity.
