Under the prevailing circumstances, nobody would want what was happening in Kisumu County today to happen to them. It was very wise and logical for the Senator for Homa Bay County to postpone the visit. 15 Mar 2023 in Senate:
Thank you Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I want to beseech my colleagues that we are mature men and women in this House. Majority side, through a very unprocedural way, to effect Standing Order No.123. My plea to you as a colleague, is to let the bygones be bygones. Let us learn from our mistakes and find a way to cool down these temperatures. We all need each other. At any given time when a Senator is not seated here because of spur of the moment actions, the people that he or she represents end up suffering. Today, the whole day, I mean, it is 5.32 p.m., and we are still waiting for this Speaker to come back. Moreover, we have not discussed ...
