13K. (1) The Cabinet Secretary may remove the Director-General from office in accordance with the terms and conditions of service only for– (a) inability to perform the functions of office due to physical or mental General incapacity;

(b) gross misconduct or misbehaviour; (c) incompetence or neglect of duty; (d) violation of the Constitution or any other law; (e) bankruptcy; or (f) any other ground that would justify removal from office under the terms and conditions of service. (2) Before the Cabinet Secretary removes the Director General from office, the Director-General shall be given— (a) sufficient notice of the allegations made against him or her to the Authority; and (b) an opportunity to present his defence against the allegations.
