Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 1 of the Bill be amended by deleting the word “2016” and substituting therefor the words “2017, and shall come into force on such date as the Cabinet Secretary may, by notice in the gazette, appoint”. The effect of the amendment is to provide that once passed, the Bill shall not come into operation until such a time that the Cabinet Secretary for Health shall determine. Thank you, Hon.
