Since the security operation was stopped at Kapedo area, there has been a resurgence of raids and killings of innocent civilians by armed bandits from Tiaty, Baringo County and Sigor, in West Pokot County.   • 4 Mar 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me this chance. I am the Member of Parliament for Turkana East and when all these incidents happened I was in Kapedo. When the officers were killed I was in Kapedo because that is my constituency. I wish to thank the Chairman for the response. As leaders, we must encourage the Government to disarm all people who have illegal firearms because they use them to kill. That area has been hell; no movement. While appreciating the efforts by the Government to contain the menace, I invoke this House to deliberate on how to end this menace once for all.
