The enactment of this law is intended to give effect to Article 227 of the Constitution. It seeks to provide a procedure for efficient public procurement and assets disposal by public entities and for connected purposes. Article 227 talks about procurement of public goods and services. I would want him to include pupils in private schools so that they can also benefit from the money the Government provides for the children. Children in private schools are not children of private citizens; they are Kenyan pupils like any other. Therefore, they should also be given this money. Hon.
