  • 27 Nov 2019 in Senate: It was encouraging to them and some us, but the Ministry let us down. They went to Russia to compete, but they were left alone. Nobody bothered to even know how their passports would be processed for their flight just because they were unable to move as fast as any other persons. view
  • 27 Nov 2019 in Senate: I encourage Sen. (Dr.) Musuruve because she is a champion. She should be praised and honoured because she is looking at these people with the interest that we need to have for our fellow human beings. Through their talents in various sports and training, it is possible to empower these people and make them feel part of the community, Kenya and the world. They are people who were born here and will be proud of their country. view
  • 27 Nov 2019 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, I congratulate Sen. (Dr.) Musuruve. Let us continue networking with these people and enhance what they have so that more can come out from the villages. This is important for the counties where these associations will be formed because that is where these people emanate from and live. If we encourage them, just like the way we are encouraging other people, they are going to be champions. They will make their counties and the country dignified. Everyone will respect this country, the counties that support these people and their sports associations. view

  • 26 Nov 2019 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. We were waiting to hear what the Senator for Nandi, Sen. Cherargei, has just said. However, we are still on his neck because he has annoyed us. view
  • 26 Nov 2019 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, he has really damaged us, as women Senators. Even if he is withdrawing, we will still bring a Statement to discuss Sen. Cherargei in this House. view

  • 26 Nov 2019 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to join my colleagues in congratulating Sen. (Prof.) Kamar. Madam Speaker--- view
  • 26 Nov 2019 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I apologise and withdraw that reference. I join my colleagues in congratulating Sen. (Prof.) Kamar. I thank her for achieving this spectacular appointment to be a Trustee. Sen. (Prof.) Kamar has not only stood out, as a Senator, but as a role model to the upcoming Senators. She is a patron of the Kenya Women Senators Association (KEWOSA). Most of us would like to follow her footsteps in championing for the empowerment of women and growing youth talent. I urge her to continue working for the society, because many of us would like to emulate her. view
