Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 9 of the Bill be amended - (b) by deleting sub-clause (2) and substituting therefor the following new sub- clause ─ “(2) In appointing representatives to the committee under subsection (1) (l), the Cabinet Secretary shall take into account equitable gender representation.” view

Again, you need to advise because this amendment was anchored on my earlier amendment. Perhaps, it does not make sense any more. That is why I would want to encourage Hon. Kaluma. I know that he is usually very good at the Second Reading but he is one of the people who are rare at this stage, so he needs to be patient with us. We are always here until midnight, so just be patient and deal with this in a way that we understand. view
