8 May 2012 in National Assembly:
Is the hon. Assistant Minister in order to trivialize the death of a citizen who died in the hands of the police? Is he in order to make it look like a trivial issue when the Member for Kamukunji says that the children and the mother are suffering? He should be replaced because he is a very insensitive Assistant Minister. He should be replaced!

3 May 2012 in National Assembly:
Thank you very much, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to support this very important Motion. At the outset, I would like to say that this is an important Motion because it is a matter that concerns the implementation of our Constitution. Even as we support this Motion, it is important to ask ourselves how we reached this stage in the first place. One of the Bills which were very important was the Devolved Governments Bill. 15 Mar 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, what we are dealing with is a very serious situation of young Kenyans whose future has been destroyed by the KNEC. We are speaking of the three counties in particular; Wajir, Garissa and Mandera, and generally of the 37 counties. But in this particular case, the number is too high; we have got 1,600 youths who do not know what to do with their future. As leaders in this country, we know what to do with students who fail, or who do not do well, but what do you do with a young man or woman who ...

15 Mar 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the hon. Member who has brought this matter before the House. I want to say that disability is not inability, and that these wonderful Kenyans work very hard; for the Government to discriminate against them is a very dangerous trend. It is against our Constitution. As a committee we are prepared and willing to investigate this matter and get to the bottom of it. Thank you very much, hon.
