I really appreciate the fact that the Members are seeing the challenges in terms of resource allocation that this Ministry is facing. In fact, this Ministry is contributing 12 per cent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as I said and also 44 per cent--- Almost half of the contribution from the agricultural sector to the GDP is livestock based. All this is happening when the resource allocation is so squeezed. view
