For example, when it comes to the COMESA issue, he knows very well that we were supposed to privatise all our sugar companies, but that has not happened. Speaker, it is okay but, maybe, the Committee members should know that this is not a matter on which they should resign to fate because it is a matter of life and death.   • 18 Feb 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Speaker. I rise to support this Motion because what is out there is that most of the youth and the women have been so enthusiastic about this. However, with time, because this Fund was not coming forth, this enthusiasm was going down. I rise to support and even urge the House that even though we have some amendments that are not very good for us, we go on and approve this for the sake of releasing these funds. view

My request would be that before the Cabinet Secretary can do this appointment, he should consult with the sitting Member of Parliament to ensure that there is equity and fairness in choosing this youth.
