  • 26 Feb 2014 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, when a responsible Government purports to compensate its nationals by taking away their resources; one, you have to evaluate the net value of the resource. That has not been done. Secondly, when you uproot people from their natural habitat, it is not enough to herd them into groups and give them money, when they do not even have a culture and history of handling money. You organize and get them alternative settlement, commensurate, equal to or even better than where you are uprooting them.
