The Ministry of Health in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development should be at the forefront in determining the type of chemicals that should be applied in our farms. Those harmful chemicals not only cause cancer, but also contribute to other illnesses in our communities. In areas with high usage of those chemicals, there is a heightened risk of miscarriages. Speaker, I join those advocating for the ban of those chemicals and ask the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the Ministry of Health, to move with speed to determine the magnitude of that problem.
