I sit as the Chairperson of the Liaison Committee and all Chairpersons discussed and realized that we have a backlog of Statements and Petitions. There are about 400 Statements that have not been responded to. The Petitions are more than 20. The Chairpersons are complaining that Cabinet Secretaries are not honouring meetings when they are requested to appear before the committees.
