  • 2 May 2023 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I want to make a brief comment on the Statement by my friend Sen. Munyi Mundigi. This problem has escalated in the last 15 years. There is no budgetary allocation for the compensation of the destroyed crops and people killed by wildlife. Three months ago, there was an exodus of elephants from Isiolo County. I thought these elephants belonged to Sen. Dullo. I have just been informed today by Sen. Mungatana that they belong to the KWS.   • 26 Apr 2023 in Senate: My question is very direct and similar to what has been asked because I agree that the future of Kenya is the North. However, that is the future. My question is: What immediate measures is the Ministry taking to make sure that, that area is considered in a very special way, so that the custom of banditry can stop and they can start farming and other things? What immediate measures is the Government taking besides militarisation of the region? Thank you. view
