  • 13 Mar 2014 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. From the experience of the number of months that we have served in these committees, for sure, every Senator will believe and understand that to serve in more than three Committees is really impossible. The nation is really looking upon us to offer leadership. There are people who are even talking about how we can save this nation in terms of the wage bill. • 6 Mar 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, that issue is quite serious. I thought even though we do not have the chair here, the Committee Member in the House can make a Statement. I thought you could rule over that because I am just imagining the number of livestock in West Pokot and Turkana affected. There is no way they can express how they are feeling unless their Senator can raise it in the House here. Why can the Chair not rule that the Ministry goes straight to the ground and work on that issue? view
  • 26 Feb 2014 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I am sorry because as far as the procedures and rules of the House dictate, at least I am supposed to have read each and every report on its own and present it in the House. view
