This is the era of Information Technology (IT) and this Bill will stabilize money transfers in our economy. It will strengthen our financial institutions and make it possible for people to transact their financial transactions through electronic transfer system. I would like to support this especially because issues of money laundering will be dealt with. There are provisions in this Bill which will protect the users against that. The request is very sensitive since it involves families. There are small children involved here. These are not just regular officers. They are living with their families and the request here is, can the Government give some undertaking, at least, to give some relief for the families to be able to stay in those particular quarters, and then you can proceed and give the Ministerial Statement. That is the request and it is very fair. view
