• 2 Nov 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Public Procurement Oversight Authority and the Public Procurement Oversight Advisory Board are established by the Public Procurement and Disposal Act, 2005. The Act also creates the position of the Director- General, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority. The appointment of the Director-General is governed by Section 10 of the Public Procurement and Disposal Act, which provides as follows:- “10(1). The Authority shall have a Director-General, who shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, and who shall be responsible for direction and management.
