I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security on increasing cases of insecurity in Kakamega. In his Statement, he should stress on the causes of insecurity being experienced in Kakamega Town, the factors fueling killings, including religious and political rivalry; and lastly the measures the Government is taking to ensure that lives and properties of the residents of Kakamega are protected. view

Pursuant to Standing Order 44(2)(c), I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Co-operatives on the national Government plan to spend Kshs700 million to construct fish ponds in the country. Hon. Speaker, the national Government recently released money to county governments through the Transition Authority (TA) for implementation of fish farming programme. In the Statement the Chairperson should inquire into and report on the following:- view
