Temporary Deputy Speaker, I rise to support the Pensions (Amendment) Bill that has been brought to this House by Hon. Didmus Barasa, Member for Kimilili. The Bill addresses the problems and concerns of almost all the constituents represented in the House. On many occasions, we have been approached by constituents who would like us to follow up on their pensions which are usually stuck along the way between their employer and the payer. This Bill is trying to fix this so that it becomes automatic that once you retire, you are entitled to your pension at a particular time or after the proposed 90 days. Hon.
